Nothobranchius hoermanni Nagy, Watters & Bellstedt, 2020 N. hoermanni has been collected in central Tanzania. It is located in the Mhwala system in the upper Wembere drainage, as well as the Wala system, a tributary of the Malagarasi drainage. It has been found with two other species of Nothos – N. sonjae & N. neumanni. It is a member of the N. ugandensis group.
