Log Into KillieNutz

Fundulopanchax sjoestedti
Lonnberg, 1895

Class: Actinopterygii

The emblem fish of the American Killifish Association, the Blue Gularis has been a mainstay of the hobby for many years. It is one of the larger killies in or out of the hobby reaching nearly 8 inches.

Fp. sjoestedti can be bred either over peat moss or mops.  Eggs should be incubated in peat for at least 6 weeks and take about the same amount of time if incubated in water.  Fry grow rapidly and take brine shrimp napauli immediately.  Larger fry will predate on their smaller siblings.
